The Soulsville Charter School

Help us educate youth for life's success!

The Soulsville Charter School (TSCS) is an award-winning, nonprofit public charter school located in Memphis, Tennessee. It is a program of the Soulsville Foundation, which also operates the Stax Museum of American Soul Music and Stax Music Academy, all at the original site of Stax Records. Serving over 600 students in sixth through twelfth grades, the school offers a rigorous, college-preparatory academic curriculum in a musically rich environment. Since its first graduating class in 2012, every senior enrolled in the school has been accepted to college with more than $90 million in scholarship and grant offers collectively. Students do not pay tuition. The school's faculty and College Counseling Center works with each student to assure he or she is accepted to a college that is a good fit financially and socially. The school also provides alumni counseling to its graduates all the way through their college graduation and beyond.
